Trailer Talk: Smurfs

Every now and then, you have to wonder what kind of drugs movie executives are on when they greenlight a film idea.  I didn't mind the Smurf's cartoon when it was a Saturday morning staple in the 80's.  It was never a favorite, but it was tolerable.

I wasn't surprised when they announced they were going to make a movie, but who thought this was a good idea?  And what is NPH doing in this?  Honestly, is there anyone who doesn't think this looks like a huge smurfing pile of smurf?!?
