- War Horse's Tony wins tonight bode well for Steven Spielberg's forthcoming adaptation of the play and children's book it was based on (by Michael Morpergo). It's scheduled for release on December 28, 2011, so it sounds like the studios are thinking Oscar buzz. No cool puppets though.

- Not a lot of Sunday news, so let's just talk Neil Patrick Harris totally rocking the Tony Awards. From his hilarious opening number to his duet with Hugh Jackman to his rap to close the show, he was the perfect host. Last night's Tony Awards were not only the best Tony Awards in quite some time, it was one of the best Awards shows in a VERY long time. Yes, some of the acceptance speeches went long, but all the technical awards were shown in short clips following commercial breaks and the overall pacing was fantastic. NPH should be host for life of all awards shows and if Oscar doesn't come calling, they're even crazier than the group that thought Anne Hathaway and James Franco would be good ho---oh, wait, that was them! Start your campaign to have NPH host the Oscars now!
